Bobby Bright’s “Alabama Values”

Freshman Alabama Congressman, Rep. Parker Griffith (D), has publicly confirmed that he will not vote for Nancy Pelosi for Speaker of the House this time around. However, the other freshman Representative from Alabama, Bobby Bright (D), just cannot seem to find fault with the Speaker. Not only has Bright been reluctant to state his intended vote for the next Speaker of the House, he has stated that Pelosi made him promise to be "independent minded" in his decisions.

"I have been [independent minded] and she has not bothered me one bit at all with any of my votes. Pelosi has been very professional towards me," said Bright.
